When will i get settled?
Well I'm sure by the end of the semester. Which is in a few weeks. Ha.
With the colder weather last week, i got the chance to do what i envisioned.
School in the garage once it was cool enough.
Last week was a chance to try it out, and it worked out beautifully.
Now this week it being warmer, i hope it will still work.
So let the recap begin.
First after a trip to a ReStore in Cypress i found this beauty...
It's huge. An old school size chalkboard.
Got brought down Monday by some sweet "family" of ours.
Then later this week our local ISD was selling some of their old furniture.
I received a shelf, cubbies, and a tripod kindergarten size desk.
Got delivered on Thursday
I filled it with {from left to right, top to bottom} E's Readers, Clock, books, toddler busy work basket{playdoh, cookie cutters, coloring books, construction paper, lacing letter set}, books, picnic basket o little people + farm, Play phone, puzzles, basket with shapes and sorter, Mr. potato head, Board books, wooden food and mixing bowl, lacing activity.
Below is Little Lady's Desk.
I love the shape!
The deep freeze is her Magnet board, also my desktop during school hours.
On the shelf above i have our supplies, in jars to be functional.
Also My Ipod, because somehow playing classical music keeps my kids on focus.
Here's the few from the chalkboard back. And yes, the house to garage door is always open when someone is in here. Whether it is me working on something after kids are asleep, hubs is working on sermon, we're doing school, and or playing with toys.
This is what it looked like the day i was setting up.
We weren't even schooling, they were just playing.
The green table behind E is the sand table.
Which they both love.
Another love.....Little Lady and Mr. Potato Head.
Best Busy Work Ever.
I love hearing her say what parts she's working on.
This is another love, Barrel of monkeys.
He's trying to teach his cousin how to play.
Such a helper & a champ
