A little late, like always

This man.

My son has been learning about this man for the past 2 weeks.

It hurt my heart to know Easton was told about "how it was."

Not as is "i am so taking you out of school", but " i really can't shield you from all the crud in the world." We had talked about it before, but he couldn't really understand it. I don't think i really understood .

It's not just racial separatism =bad, and this man fixed it all. No, there were other's along with him who actions broke down the "norm."

The "norm"....

How sad that is what is was......

That's how it is...

We can't eat there.

We can't go potty there.

We can't sit there.

As we made our cookie dough Monday, we were all talking about how Mr. King spoke out for what was right.

We started talking about how if this hadn't had happened we would not be the same....

Would our nephews had come?

Would Aerie ?

Easton's school would look alot different.

Our restaurants, bathrooms, stores, would all have different rules, other then no riding in the big cart part.
Easton kept saying the biggest thing he did was being a believer.*
He was a minister.
How often do we hear of leaders of the Church getting told to be quite for making a stand on a political/ human issue.
What if Mr. King had listen to the people who told him to stop....
How would your world be changed?
*I love how Easton measures how some one lived by this.
