Summer simple

Summer should be simple.
Like no socks in the laundry.
Like no need to wash the swimwear, b/c we're right out there swimming tomorrow.
Like not having to wash table cloths.
Babies in onesies with their chubby little legs hanging out.
Clothes hanging on the line to dry.
Slip & Slides
Sprinklers
Lemonade stands
Rock Stands
Picnics
Simple.

For a simple solution to no table cloths. go to grab a roll of freezer paper. Literally the only place i have found it, has been HEB. It's about $3 and some change. It's a big roll. I bought some to do the bleach project here. I also plan on screening a shirt for my curly headed boy.

Simply roll out a piece the length of you table and place some markers out. Add ed emberly's book & let them make masterpieces. Or just let your dinner company draw or right notes.

sweet tea in a mason jar......mmm...summer time

This was left after a dinner with our back yard bible club group.
Not sure why Fi is in a manger...
the same person once filled in our week's calendar with " dinner w/ David" on every day.

After you roll it out, you can put out a few mason jars with flowers. Mine had crape mertyl branches and fresh cut roses. I love fresh free flowers in the house.

You can also roll it out and eat something messy. We had 3 minute eggs. The white is cooked but the yoke is runny. You go at it with a spoon and salt and pepper. My mom made them when i was small, and now i make them for my boy.

Love them Green Barneyville eggs.
So pretty.

Pretty sure i like them for the taste, but also the fact i can use my cute egg cups.

It also came in handy while eating edamame..
look at that chubby baby hand.
