So now she 6 months and doing so many things. She is weighting 14 pounds and is 2 feet tall. She is wearing 6 month clothes. She is still so dainty, and such a good, sweet, happy, and squealy baby.
On the eve of Christmas she began saying " da da." At first i thought and tried to convince myself she was just babbling. But by golly anytime this girl wakes up for her 5:30 am feeding, in which her and her daddy have their time together, All you hear is her calling him. She does it high pitch and low, draws it out and short, she knows who he is. It's sweet when we are out and as soon as he is out of her site she starts calling.
She is also trying to scoot around, evidently her rolling capabilities are not enough. I am still trying out a way to stop her. It is cute to see her roll to what she wants. Unfortunatly she is even rolling in her crib, we have checked on her to find her on her tummy. We have tried wedges, incline, and blankets rolled by her side, none have yet to stop her. Rolling an shoving her feet in her mouth. Her favorite things.
She absolutely adores her brother. She gets so happy when she sees him, usually resulting in her patting is head or gnawing on his chin. He was the first person she rolled to. Sometimes he can't be in the room while she eats, she will see him and stop eating, and want to play.
She is also splashing in the tub now, so cute. She does this soft little pat on the water and kicks. She likes bath time and enjoys trying to drink the bath water.
Fionna enjoys the computer, well at least the keyboard as she now knows how to pull out the keyboard tray. Also she has learned to pull down what ever I have on the desk. It's a good way to limit how much i do when she's awake.
She is also still enjoying her swing except she is able to touch the mobile part and pull it. I will try to shorten them before she breaks it motor.
We are also giving her baby food now. We were not ready. She was showing interest about 5 months, but we kept saying not yet. Then she started waking up at 2 am wanting to eat and play. So we gave in, very tiredly might i add. She really enjoys veggies. after each spoonful you here a "mmmm". So sweet. I have figured out what consistency she wants, and will eat happily w/o stopping or gagging.
