Settling back in

Yesterday our baby girl turned 4 weeks. I guess officially she isn't a month till the 2nd, but really it's been four weeks. I had planned for this day to be the one were she put on her first cloth diaper. But we had drama of course and somehow the thought of trying a new diaper and running around dropping things in baskets to take where ever we were going, well it didn't sound to fun.
We like many other evacuated, unlike most others we are right down the street for where it happened, like maybe 3 miles. I love getting calls from my husband say " Do Not go out side! There's a chemical fire down the road and it's (insert name of chemical)! If you start feel your lungs burning or your skin itching call me. Tell Easton if he feels that way to let you know. Fionna, well she can't tell you but keep on eye on her. Get ready to leave."
Seriously, it was not so fun to try to get things together, tell our son about it with out freaking him out, and find somewhere to go. Sure there's reed arena, but we really try to keep our baby away from tons of people and their germs.

Anywho, after they moved the evacuation from university up, that now included us. Even though we did not smell or see anything, we decided to leave.

We headed to Ana's, then to my brothers house. We needed somewhere to recap, think about where we are going? Turns out it was just right. Easton got to play & we got to hang out with my family. They housed us for hours, they fed us yummy hamburgers and ice cream for dessert. Something about having dessert in a "can't breathe the air outside" disaster, just feels weird. Tasted Great though, really the brain behind BlueBell Southern hospitality has to be a genius.

After watching the most news in our lives's, we found out we were in the zone to be "ok" to go home. One way was still blocked off, so we had to go the back way. Really we live that close to it.

Everything turned out well, Harley was still alive, and we had a pretty sweet time with family.

I am thinking of getting Fi and our niece this onesie made.
